About me

I have the dubious honour of being one of Britain’s first Covid cases. During my three months stay in the hospital while the medics treated what was initially an unknown illness I had plenty of time to think. Shortly before I was discharged into a locked down world I made up my mind the time had come for me to live differently and to spend much more time doing the things I love.

Early in 2020, I swapped my house and building business for a narrow boat and an art studio. I was determined to follow my passion for art.

Now, each morning during the short walk along the towpath to my studio I think about what I am going to make today. I have always been a collector of odds and ends and anything that interests me. I enjoy the process of recycling, I can see beauty in something most people will throw away.
